Pogba broke the world transfer record in moving from Juventus to the Premier League over the summer for 110 million euros ($120M), having led the Italians to four consecutive Serie A titles during his time in Turin.
And Lucio, who played alongside the Frenchman for six months at the start of his Juve spell, believes he can go on to achieve great things.
“I think Pogba has everything in him to do that at Man Utd. He’s got a big personality; he’s strong and powerful and has talent like all successful English Premier League players,” the Brazilian (pictured below), who won 105 caps at center back for his country, told Goal.
“The experience that I had with him was a very good one – he trains well, works hard and is a good guy.”
The 2002 World Cup winner was also quizzed on Cristiano Ronaldo, who is one of the favorites to prevail in the 2016 Goal 50 after another spectacular campaign.
“Clearly Cristiano Ronaldo has had a great season with Real Madrid (winning the Champions League) and with Portugal at the Euros,” he pointed out.
“He is one of the best strikers in the world.”
